Planeveyor used in clean room needs to its materials to be changed and cleaned level depending on various usage environments (wear resistance, heat resistance, static prevention, vacuum environment, etc.) in the manufacturing process of glass substrates and others.

Atec conducts assembly and packaging in clean booth and clean bench. In parts unit, cleaning with pure water using a degreasing / dedicated cleaner is performed, and the resin powder attached to the surface at the time of ball processing is also removed to the limit.

Properties of resin

POM
〈 Polyacetal 〉
Representative of engineering plastics with high processability.
It has well balanced mechanical properties and continuous use temperature usage which is around 80 °C. It is sensitive to strong acids and flammable.
UHMWPE
〈 Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene 〉
Especially excellent in abrasion resistance (POM, higher abrasion resistance than stainless steel) Impact resistance is the best plastics among. It is strong against water, but the continuous usage temperature is around 80 °C.
PEEK
〈 Polyetheretherketone 〉
Polymer resin which has excellent heat resistance (continuous temperature usage 150 °C), Weariness resistance and abrasion resistance and can be used except concentrated sulfuric acid. Almost no gas elution.
PI
〈 Polyimide 〉
100% polyimide super heat resistant resin. (Continuous use at 250 °C, use limit at 450 °C for short time use) Resin that has excellent wear resistance without being affected by organic solvent, grease, oil.
D
〈 Dielectric type (antistatic) 〉
Each material is black in antistatic grade. It is used to address problems due to ESD and other static electricity with a surface resistivity of 103 to 107Ω. Body and small ball adopt dielectric type resin or stainless steel.

It will be adapted for conveying and positioning according to the conditions, suppressing damage on the glass surface by selecting the material of various plastics. It is lighter and has less dust generation than the conventional positioning method using supporting plastic pin and others.

It is possible to aspirate fine dust that has entered inside by drilling holes in the bolt section. (option)

The mechanism for fixing the main ball with the force of air prevents positional displacement of the work piece such as glass substrate. Normally, the main ball rolls as smoothly as in PVP series. There is a specification that allows dust suction only for 20B type.
